Anti-Doping

Anti-doping activities in Japan are mainly implemented by the Japan Anti-Doping Agency (JADA). The Japan Sports Association promotes anti-doping program in cooperation with JADA.

In 2002, it initiated the "anti-doping education programs for National Sports Festival athletes" in cooperation with prefectural sports associations. It provides information regarding anti-doping to the national and international athletes.

Furthermore, since 2003, it has been conducting doping control at the National Sports Festival based on the World Anti-Doping Code and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) international standard.

The Japan Sports Association will advance anti-doping activities from the perspectives of both "Testing" and "Education."
